We aspire to improve - not only in tech

We, the conference team, thought a lot about how to improve our event to make it more sustainable. We live on a great planet and we want to keep it that way. Here are some of our ideas what we can do AND what you can do to make your Neos Conference experience more sustainable. 

 

What we do

  • For the fifth year - we are going without brochures and use the Neos Conference app instead for all the information you need during the conference
  • The food at Neos Con comes from GenoHotel Karlsruhe, an award-winning venue for regional sourcing (certified by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry and DEHOGA).
  • For the few printing material that we need we will intend to use recycled paper only
  • Our old roll-ups don't go to waste — they're upcycled into bags by Lebenshilfe Bruchsal-Bretten e.V. and gifted to our speakers as a thank-you.

What you can do

  • Rideshare: organize ride-shares to and from the conference
  • Take the train
  • Use public transport while in Karlsruhe
  • Bring you name tag from last year
